Each year, ACTIVATE alumni apply to serve as volunteers for a new cohort of ACTIVATORS. The volunteers are selected for their enthusiasm, work ethic and cross-country representation.
The volunteers meet in Ottawa several months before the ACTIVATE conference to start planning and separating tasks. With the support of Motivate Canada, they write the schedule, select the participants and run the logistical part of the conference.
After the conference, they serve as mentors for the new ACTIVATORS as they return to their communities to run their own community projects.
