At an early age, Beverley had always imagined herself being successful one day. She had an entrepreneur spirit that encouraged and motivated her to reach her potential in anything that came her way. She was the child who was thirsty for success and soon found out that being physically fit was a key to this. She was adopted into the Sunday family at the age of 6 months and her parents are residential school survivors. She is the youngest of 10 siblings in the Sunday family. Beverley’s blood line from her Mother’s side is chiefs. Beverley comes from a small Reserve called Goodfish Lake, Alberta. Her tribe is Plains Cree. Beverley lived there for 18 years and left to pursue post-secondary education and a life she’s always dreamed of.
She had always been involved in some kind of sport throughout her life. Some of her major accomplishments in sport were placing in the North American Indigenous Games. Her soccer team placed 3rd in St. Paul, Minnesota and she placed 2nd in Singles in Badminton in Victoria, BC. It wasn’t until a few years later that her life changed dramatically. She was on her third child and gained 40lbs. This was a huge eye opener for Beverley; gaining so much weight for the first time in her life made her so miserable. Just after 6 weeks of having her son, she entered into a competition called Body for Life, by Bill Phillips. During the 12 weeks of transformation Beverley’s mind, body, soul and emotion were healing. It was at this moment in life she wanted to take her journey to a different level and inspire others to live a healthier lifestyle. She is now a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor Specialist, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist. She is a Certified Bellyfit, ZUMBA and Kettle bell Instructor. She is the Creator and founder of REZFIT which is fusion fitness that incorporates Aboriginal dance throughout the world and REZFit Boot camps. Her long term goal is to open the First Aboriginal Fitness and Personal Training in Ottawa, HAWK Studio
Beverley is a mother of 3 beautiful and healthy children. This is motivation to stay inspired by her passion, her dreams and her health. Without health, life is hard. With health, life is in your hands. She has witnessed issues of addiction within her family and the community. She’s witnessed abuse and was a victim of abuse. The important lesson she learned in life is that it doesn’t matter where you come from - what matters is your passion, your dreams and your motivation.
“Life is a journey and you will be faced with many obstacles. What matters is how you deal with these obstacles and what you take from it! It starts with Believing!”
