Motivate Canada is seeking a Finance/Administrative Coordinator for a permanent opportunity. You must have at least five years of working experience and be proficient with Simply Accounting and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Accounting and a proven ability to work independently.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for all day to day accounting and office duties. 70% of this time will be spent on financial functions; this includes all accounts payable, accounts receivable, account and bank reconciliations, set up and maintains the GL, chart of accounts and monthly and yearly financial statements. You will also be responsible for payroll and benefits coordination. 20% of this time will be spent on administrative duties that will include taking care of contracts or agreements - internal or external. You will also take care of organizational information that has a financial impact such as leases, sponsorship, funding agreements etc. You will also be responsible for Board and CEO travel arrangements and meeting preparations. As the Finance/Administrative Coordinator the other 10% of your time will be spent coordinating and overseeing technology providers.
