When?

ACTIVATE 2011 took place from May 11 to 15, 2011 at Carleton University in Ottawa. 50 participants aged 16 to 22 came from all across Canada. They were supported by the ACTIVATE 2011 volunteer team, composed of enthusiastic ACTIVATE alumni from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

What?

After one week of activities, speakers and events aimed to give the participants everything they need to support their engagement in their communities, participants were ready to start ACTIVATE in Action. This program, which lasts approximately one year after the ACTIVATE conference, supports youth to run sport-related projects in their communities.
